New Market - Mrs. Effie Rush, 91, New Market, died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday in Ben Hur Nursing Home at Crawfordsville where she had resided the past 5 years. Born May 21, 1878 in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of John and Callie Watkins Fulwider. She married Charles E. Rush Nov 25, 1897. He died Dec 11, 1947. Mrs. Rush was a member of the New Market Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Russell Rush of Greencastle; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Etter of New Market; two brothers, Bert Fulwider of Harrisburg, PA and Ivan Fulwider of Rochester Ind; a sister, Mrs. George Moeler of Lake Worth, FL; two grandchildren, Richard Rush of New Market and Mrs. Robert W. Gilmore of Speedway and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Reeves Funeral Home here with Rev. Dale Payne officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. - kbz
